RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held Monday January 17, 2022, be approved as presented.

RESOLVED THAT Council accept the 2022 Municipal Election Information Report, as presented.

RESOLVED THAT Council accept the Township of Terrace Bay FireSmart Plan (Community Wildland Fire Protection Plan.

RESOLVED THAT Council approve the 2022 Interim Tax Levy and that the relevant By-law be brought forward.

RESOLVED THAT Council support an application to the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC): Community Enhancement Program – Rural Enhancement Funding for the Terrace Bay Memorial Arena AND THAT as per the parameters of the NOHFC funding program, if successful in its application the Township’s contribution of up to a potential maximum of $400,000, be included in a future applicable budget.

RESOLVED THAT Council approve the By-law to authorize the Corporation of the Township of Terrace Bay to enter into an Agreement for the Purchase of Property at 2 Eastgrove Court, Terrace Bay be read a first, second and third time and finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed and numbered on this 7th day of February 2022. RESOLVED THAT Council approve the By-law to provide for an interim tax levy for the year 2022 be read a first, second and third time and finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed and numbered on this 7th day of February 2022.
