RESOLVED THAT the Monday June 20, 2022, Agenda be approved with the addition of Senior of the Year.

RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held Monday June 6, 2022, be approved as presented.

RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held Wednesday June 15, 2022, be approved as presented.

RESOLVED THAT Council accept the report and approve the adoption of a by-law to authorize delegated authority during the “Lame Duck Period” of Council during the 2022 Municipal Election Page 2 of 8 Regular Council Meeting Minutes - June 20, 2022 AND THAT the appropriate by-law be brought forward.

RESOLVED THAT Council Amend By-Law 29-2021 (the procedural by-law) to include a declaration of Indigenous Land Acknowledgement and provide for Live-Streaming of Regular Council meetings. AND THAT Notice be provided in accordance with By-law 35-2008 AND THAT following the Notice period and the appropriate bylaw be brought forward for final passage at the July 4, Regular Meeting of Council.

RESOLVED THAT Council does not approve further exploration of establishing or construction of any further portion of the municipality owned “Scott Avenue: at Township expense.

RESOLVED THAT Council authorize the cancellation of the sale of Plan M329 Lot 256 Eastgrove Cres and rescinding of by-law 12- 2022 and that the appropriate by-law be brought forward.

RESOLVED THAT Council accept the 2022 Variance Report as presented.

RESOLVED THAT Council accept the Waterfront Development Committee Report as presented.

Page 5 of 8 Regular Council Meeting Minutes - June 20, 2022 RESOLVED THAT Council approve the request for donation from the Waasaashkaa Gathering of Surfers group for their event in October including: • The use of the Main Beach Pavillion October 14th (for set up), • October 15th for the event, • October 16 for clean up (same as last year) • Free camping at the main beach (same as last year) • Use of the township speaker and microphone. • 4 plastic tables, 8 chairs, 6 garbage cans • Keep the docks in the river until the event is over • Use of the pavilion meeting room from October 14-16th for storage, band prep area, etc • Keep the volleyball nets up

RESOLVED THAT Council direct the CAO/Clerk to continue to work with the officials of the Terrace Bay Community Church in having the Township assume the church property AND THAT a report and by-law be brought back to a future meeting of Council, as appropriate.

RESOLVED THAT Council rescind by-law 12-2022 being a by-law to authorize an agreement with The Corporation of the Township of Terrace Bay and B. McKay for the purchase of Property Lot 256 Plan M329 on Eastgrove Cres, Terrace Bay be read a first, second and third time and finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed and numbered on this 20th day of June 2022.

RESOLVED THAT Being a By-law to Authorize Delegated Authority during the “Lame Duck Period” during the 2022 Municipal Election be read a first, second and third time and finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed and numbered on this 20th day of June, 2022.

RESOLVED THAT the next Regular Council meeting will be held Monday July 4, 2022, at 6:30 in the Council Chambers.

RESOLVED THAT we do now adjourn at 8:26 p.m.
