RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held Monday July 18, 2022, be approved as presented.

RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the Special Council Meeting held Monday July 20, 2022, be approved as presented.

RESOLVED THAT the appropriate by-laws be brought forward to approve the amendment to the Official Plan for the Hydro Bay Cottage Subdivision as described in Planning Report #28616-000 Page 2 of 9 Regular Council Meeting Minutes - August 2, 2022 (04) to apply special policy over the subject lands and to re- designate Blocks 17, 18 and 21 to Open Space. AND to approve the amendment to the Zoning By-law for the Hydro Bay Cottage Subdivision as described in Planning Report #28616- 000 (04) to rezone the subject lands from Waterfront Residential (RW) to Waterfront Residential Exception 1 Holding (RW-1(H)) and Rural (RU) to Open Space (OS AND THAT the appropriate by-laws be brought forward

RESOLVED THAT That Council declare the western severed portion of the property (Roll # 5854 0000 0300 2200 000, legally known as PLAN M143 PT LOT 568 RP;55R12617 PART, as surplus AND THAT accept the offer of $70,000 from Canadian Commercial (Acquisitions) Inc. for the declared surplus property; AND THAT the appropriate by-law, authorizing the sale agreement be brought forward

RESOLVED THAT Council approve the training session for Operations Manager and Public Works Leadhand

RESOLVED THAT Council approve the overage of $24,000 to pave two locations on Cartier Drive and repair the driveway on Southridge Crescent.

RESOLVED THAT Council approve $6,855.24 to bring the oil burner at the Terrace Bay Cultural Centre up to 2022 fire suppression standards

RESOLVED THAT Council supports an application to the Ontario Trillium Fund’s Community Investment: Capital Grant for the construction of a concrete base platform at Southridge Park

RESOLVED THAT Council approve the General Disbursements for June 2022 in the amount of $572,555.73

RESOLVED THAT Council to approve By-law 21-2022 – Being a By-law to amend the Official Plan in respect of draft subdivision approval for the Hydro Bay Subdivision application (Nichols) and that it be read a first, second and third time and finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed, and numbered on this 2nd day of August 2022

RESOLVED THAT Council approve By-law 22-2022 in respect of draft subdivision approval for the Hydro Bay Subdivision application (Nichols) to amend Zoning By-law 10-2016 and that it be read a first, second and third time and finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed, and numbered on this 2nd day of August 2022.

RESOLVED THAT Council approve By-law 23-2022 in respect of the declaration of surplus land the western severed portion of (Roll # 5854 0000 0300 2200 000, legally known as PLAN M143 PT LOT 568 RP;55R12617 PART and sale of the same and that it be read a first, second and third time and finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed, and numbered on this 2nd day of August 2022.

RESOLVED THAT Council approve By-law 24-2022 to amend By-law 18- 2021 (the Procurement Policy) and that it be read a first, second and third time and finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed, and numbered on this 2nd day of August 2022.

RESOLVED THAT Council proceed in camera in order to address a matter pertaining to: 1. Minutes from the previous in-camera sessions held on July 18, 2022 2. One (1) matter with respect to Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board; Re: Terrace Bay Landfill 3. One (1) matter regarding advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose; Re: Terrace Bay Landfill
