RESOLVED THAT Page 1 of 3 Special Council Meeting Minutes - July 20, 2020 WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Terrace Bay passed By-law 19-2020 on June 15, 2020; AND WHEREAS an appeal to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) to By-law 19-2020 was received by the Township on July 14, 2020; AND WHEREAS the Township’s Planning Consultant has reviewed the appeal and did not find any apparent land use planning grounds for the appeal; AND WHEREAS the LPAT has the power to dismiss an appeal without a hearing based on a number of grounds including that an appeal is not based on any apparent land use planning grounds; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Terrace Bay requests that the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal dismiss the appeal to By-law 19-2020 without a hearing.
