Special Council

RESOLVED THAT the Wednesday July 20, 2022, Agenda be approved as presented.

WHEREAS council has received applications for a plan of subdivision for the Hydro Bay Cottage Subdivision, and related Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment AND WHEREAS the Municipality can proceed to approve a Draft Plan of Subdivision, in accordance with the Delegation of Authority under Section 51(14) of the Planning Act; AND WHEREAS Council is satisfied that the proposed development can proceed by Plan of Subdivision and that regard has been had to the matters under Section 51(24) of the Planning Act; AND WHEREAS the Municipality can proceed to approve a Draft Plan of Subdivision subject to conditions for approval under Section 51(25) of the Planning Act; AND WHEREAS the Planning Report #28616-000 (04) prepared by the Township’s Planner J.L. Richards & Associates Limited, as revised, indicates that the proposed development is consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement and conforms to the Township’s Official Plan, subject to the conditions set out in Schedule “A” to the Planning Report; AND WHEREAS a Public Meeting was held by the Council of the Township of Terrace Bay regarding the applications for Plan of Subdivision, Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment on April 19th, 2021 in accordance with Sections 17(15)(d), Sections 34(12)(a)(ii) and 51(20) of the Planning Act and O.Reg. 544/06; Page 2 of 4 Special Council Meeting Minutes - July 20, 2022 THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED THAT Council approves the Draft Approval for the Plan of Subdivision Fi
