RESOLVED THAT Council accept the offers from W. Tang for the surplus properties as follows, Roll# 585400000241200, PLAN M329 LOT 282 STREY TWP, municipally addressed as 47(44) Eastgrove Cres. - $12,000 Roll# 585400000200701, PLAN M124 LOT 1 TO 6 PCL 9019 PIN #624570314 (Simcoe Plaza) - $45,000 Roll# 585400000123601, PLAN M121 LOT 170, municipally addressed as 17 Birch - $12,000 Roll# 585400000123701, PLAN M121 LOT 171, municipally addressed as 19 Birch - $12,000 AND THAT the appropriate by-law authorizing the sales agreement be brought forward. RESOLVED THAT Council approve the 2024 Budget Plan as presented

RESOLVED THAT Council approve the purchase for a new HMI controllerin the amount of $7,400 for full replacement.

WHEREAS by the virtue of the Franco-Ontarian Day Act, which was legislated on April 26th, 2010, it is declared that September 25th of each year be recognized as Franco-Ontarian Day throughout the province of Ontario; and WHEREAS September 25th is the anniversary of the first raising of the Franco-Ontarian flag and it represents over 400 years of French presence in Ontario; and WHEREAS there are more than 745 000 Francophones in Ontario, the largest Francophone community outside of Quebec; and WHEREAS Franco-Ontarian Day has become an annual occasion to celebrate the Francophone Community: NOW THEREFORE, I, Paul Malashewski, by the virtue of the power vested in me as Mayor of the Township of Terrace Bay, do hereby proclaim September 25th of each year as FRANCO-ONTARIAN DAY and join the Francophone Community of Terrace Bay in celebrating its exceptional contribution to Ontario’s growth and prosperity.

RESOLVED THAT Council enter into an agreement with W. Tang for the purchase of property of 47 Eastgrove Cres. be read a fist second and third time and finally passed this 18th day of September 2023.

RESOLVED THAT Council enter into an agreement with W. Tang for the purchase of property of 1 - 6 Simcoe Plaza be read a fist second and third time and finally passed this 18th day of September 2023.

RESOLVED THAT the next Regular Council Meeting will be held Monday October 2, 2023, at 6:30 in the Council Chambers.
