RESOLVED THAT Council approve the Agenda for the September 3, 2024 Regular Meeting with the following additions/amendments: 1. Addition of Presentation by McQueen Galloway Associates - Terrace Bay Recreation Master Plan to item 6. a) Page 1 of 7 Regular Council Meeting Minutes - September 3, 2024 2. Addition of By-law 33-2024 Being a By-law to authorize an agreement between the Township of Terrace Bay and the Rural Transit Solutions Fund to item 9. b) 3. Addition of Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area Administration and Visitor's Centre to 10. d)

RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting held August 6, 2024 be approved as amended.

RESOLVED THAT Council accept the Terrace Bay Recreation Master Plan as presented.

RESOLVED THAT Council direct Administration to draft and bring back a modern Grass Maintenance by-law to a future Council meeting.

RESOLVED THAT Council declare of the following items as surplus:  the 2016 GMC Sierra,  an out-of-service equipment trailer; and  an out-of-service fuel tank. AND THAT the items be offered for sale to the general public via tender/auction.

RESOLVED THAT Council approve Rural Transit Solutions Fund contribution agreement for the purchase of a hybrid vehicle to expand on-demand services provided by Community Health Transportation Program in Terrace Bay and 5 surrounding rural communities in northern Ontario and that the appropriate by-law be brought forward.

RESOLVED THAT Council approve the request from St. Martin of Tours Catholic Women's League, to waive the fee for use of the Michael King Hall on October 19, 2024 for their annual Fall Bazaar.

RESOLVED THAT Council approve a by-law to authorize an agreement between the Township of Terrace Bay and the Rural Transit Solutions Fund be read a first, second and third time and finally passed, signed by the Mayor and Clerk, sealed and numbered on this 3rd day of September, 2024

RESOLVED THAT Council move the next portion of this meeting in- camera to discuss: Minutes from the previous in-camera session held on June 3, 2024 and; One (1) matter that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose; re: Lease of municipally owned property (Airport); One (1) matter with respect to personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees; By-law enforcement matter

RESOLVED THAT the next Regular Meeting of Council is to be held on September 16, 2024.

RESOLVED THAT we now adjourn at 19:39 PM.
